Two of Toggenburg's finest modular heads team up to bring some proper Hüttenfunk to the stage. Technoid and trippy, paired with a little pinch of madness. The creative minds behind the live act and producer duo Skiclub Toggenburg are Till Ostendarp and Adi Eberhard. They are talented and well-connected musicians who have added a distinctive touch to their sound over the years. With a flair for slightly stripped down venues, they have played their way through the national and international scene. Whether on the big stage or in a shabby basement: Their modular, crackling sounds, powerful basslines and cosmic synthlines are equally inspiring. The characteristic Skiclub-sound evokes memories of the cozy, rustic parlor and at the same time invites you to bob along with its structured yet broken minimalism. The artists' toolbox is large, their musical approach unique and their creativity seemingly unlimited. Organic, blunt and hypnotic. On the German label LOK Recordings, the duo released the Cocoloco-EP in 2020. The B1 track 'Zmorge mit Pascal' was remixed by Roman Flügel. In 2021 the "Ide Hötte“-EP followed on the label L.E.T. and at the end of 2022, the counterpart, the "Usde Hötte" EP, was released on the Swiss label SonicView Records. Till Ostendarp and Adi Eberhard see themselves as driving parts of collaborations. Thus, they have already teamed up with the Swiss band Alois, the enigmatic and talented Domi Chansorn, the exceptional percussionist Nicolas Stocker as well as with the multitalented Kalabrese. The Skiclub-cosmos seems to be endless and always on the sympathetic border to madness – visionary yet firmly rooted in its origins.
