Biography

Doppel is a healthy blend of organic beeps influenced in equal parts by the unique textures of life on the Australian east coast, the surging sunset to sunrise sounds of global house and techno, as well as everything in between jazz, metal and the blues. Smooth sultry live performances continuously grace main stages at Rainbow Serpent, Earth Frequency, Strawberry Fields and Dragon Dreaming festivals, woven between headline shows across the vast expanse of Australia & surrounding international waters. As a core artist of landmark imprints Open Records and Stone Seed, Doppel shapes a flavourful palette of diverse releases. Impeccable crafts grace industry leading platforms Einmusika Recordings, Desert Trax, IbogaTech, Digital Structures and Dear Deer to name a few. In 2021 Doppel’s debut album Eucalyptograph marked a milestone, collecting immense praise from afar, whilst he electrified crowds at sold out tour shows across his home country. Triple J featuring an hour of original Doppel material at peak time is just one example of the flowing support from the wider Australian scene.
